Siirt University; It was established with the law number 2809 published in the Official Gazette dated 29.05.2007 and numbered 26536. Our university has been continuing education, training, research studies and public service since 2007. The foundations of our university are based on the 2-year Education Institute, which was established in 1976 under the Dicle University. This Institute was renamed Siirt School of Education in 1982 and Siirt Faculty of Education in 1992. Our university; 10 faculties including Education, Engineering, Science and Literature, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Agriculture, Theology, Veterinary Medicine, Fine Arts and Design, Health Sciences and Medicine Faculty ; 3 colleges including Physical Education and Sports, Foreign Languages ​​and Tourism Management and Hotel Management School ; 4 institutes including the Institute of Science, Social Sciences, Living Languages ​​and Health Sciences ; Social Sciences, Technical Sciences, Health Services, Kurtalan, Eruh and Design Vocational School, including 6 vocational schools with Beekeeping Application and Research Center, Viticulture Application and Research Center, Science and Technology Application and Research Center, Experimental Animal Application and Research Center, Animal Health Application and Research Center, İbrahim Hakkı Remote Sensing Application and Research Center, Women's Problems Application and Research Center, Career Research Planning and Application Center, Public-University Industry Cooperation Research and Application Center, Goat Application and Research Center, Siirt and Region Handicrafts Research and Application Center, Siirt and Region History-Culture Application and Research Center, Continuing Education Research and Application Center , Agricultural Studies Application and Research Center Directorate, Technology Transfer Office Application and Research Center, Turkish Education Application and Research Center, Distance Education Research and Application Center,Wild Animals Conservation, Rehabilitation Application and Research Center, Teaching and Learning Application and Research Center There are 19 research and application centers . Our university continues its education and research studies in Kezer Campus, Central Campus in the city center and Kurtalan and Eruh campuses. In the Central Campus; Vocational School of Health Services, Vocational School of Social Sciences, Vocational School of Technical Sciences and Lodgings. There are Eruh Vocational School in Eruh campus and Kurtalan Vocational School in Kurtalan campus. In the Kezer Campus, the Rectorate Building, Institutes, Engineering, Education, Science and Literature, Agriculture, Veterinary, Economics and Administrative Sciences and Theology Faculties, School of Physical Education and Sports, School of Health, Prof. Dr. İhsan Süreyya Sırma Central Library ,Campus Mosque, Staff and Student Dining Hall, and Medico-Health Unit continue their activities. In addition, there is a Central Research Laboratory, Carpet and Football Field, Indoor Sports Hall, 2 Tennis Courts, 1 Fitness Hall, Basketball and Volleyball Court and Guest House in Kezer Campus.
